Parking at Amager Bio and BETA

The streets around Amager Bio — Strickersvej, Kirkegårdsvej, Hveensvej, Middelgrundsvej and more — have free parking under the same rule: max 3 hours Monday-Friday 8am-10pm, and no limit on Saturdays and Sundays. If you arrive for a concert after 7pm on a weekday, you cannot exceed the 3 hours before the limit ends at 10pm. Strickersvej is about 60 m from Amager Bio and has 26 free spaces under the weekday 3-hour limit. To avoid the limit, the municipal spaces on Drogdensgade about 85 m away are in the blue zone: DKK 26 an hour 8am-6pm, DKK 18 6pm-11pm and DKK 6 overnight, and you can pay directly in the FreeSpot app.

The cheapest option is free. Within 250 m of Amager Bio there are over 250 free street spaces, and the longest stretch is Kirkegårdsvej with 56 spaces about 145 m away. The rule is the same across the neighbourhood: max 3 hours on weekdays 8am-10pm, no limit at weekends. A few stretches — including on Øresundsvej — have different rules and no-stopping times, so always check the signs on site.

If you need to stay a long time on a weekday, or want to be certain of a space for a sold-out show, the car park at Kongedybs Allé and Prøvestens Allé is the largest nearby: 300 spaces at DKK 16 an hour, run by COPARK, about 465 m from Amager Bio. An alternative is UnoPark's car park at Englandsvej 28 with 100 spaces at the same price about 370 m away. Opening hours are not stated in our data, so check the signs if the concert finishes late.

Amager Bio on Øresundsvej is one of Copenhagen's well-known music venues, and BETA is the smaller stage in the same building. The name comes from the building's days as a cinema. The venue sits in a residential neighbourhood just off Amagerbrogade, which is why parking at Amager Bio is mainly street parking — free in the side streets and blue zone on the larger roads.
