Parking at STORM (the Storm P. Museum) in Frederiksberg

All municipal street spaces around the museum sit in the same paid zone, so the choice is about when you come and how much hunting you are willing to do. A one-to-two-hour visit costs DKK 10-25 on the street. The stretch of Frederiksberg Allé outside no. 100-104 has 32 spaces about 195 m from the museum — a two-minute walk along the avenue towards the Runddel. Frederiksberg's progressive rate applies: DKK 10 for the first hour and 25 for two. Pay with Frederiksberg Municipality's parking ticket or one of the apps signposted on site.

There is no cheaper street space near the museum — every space around the Runddel is in the same paid zone. The nearest free spaces are on Frederiksberg Bredegade, about 420 m away, where you can park free for up to an hour. Otherwise the cheapest choice is timing: the paid zone runs weekdays 7am-midnight and Saturdays 7am-5pm, so Sundays, public holidays and Saturday after 5pm are free. If the avenue is full, Allégade has 13 spaces about 210 m from the museum on the same terms.

If you want to be sure of a space, Pile Allé 14 is the nearest off-street car park: 80 spaces run by APCOA, about 330 m from the museum, at a flat DKK 22 an hour. For a short visit the street is cheaper — DKK 10 against DKK 22 for the first hour — so you are paying for a guaranteed space, not a saving.

STORM — formerly the Storm P. Museum — is Frederiksbergmuseerne's museum of humour and satire. The universe of the cartoonist and humorist Robert Storm Petersen has its own space on the first floor. It stands at Frederiksberg Runddel, at the end of Frederiksberg Allé by the entrance to Frederiksberg Gardens — an area of municipal paid parking along the avenue and side streets.
